Short-term missions with CBF follows a partnership model working alongside CBF field personnel and mission partners. All who volunteer through CBF are required to complete background checks (ages 18+); waivers acknowledging the realities of and your responsibilities when engaging in volunteer missions service; and receive training for your endeavor. IMPORTANT UPDATE: The South Africa Ministry Network of CBF will host a mission experience July 15-26. Arriving in Johannesburg July 15, participants will join one of three different ministry areas including Johannesburg, Refilwe, and Winterton South Africa. Each project site partners with the South Africa Ministry Network and CBF field personnel serving HIV/AIDS orphans and their caregivers. Following five days of mission engagement, participants will then attend the Baptist World Congress of the Baptist World Alliance from July 22-26. Cost for the mission experience: $900 + roundtrip airfare and World Congress registration fee of $250.
