Karen Morrow

Location: Fort Worth, Texas

Commissioned: 1996

Karen Morrow began ministering as a CBF field personnel strategy coordinator in Germany, where large numbers of Middle Eastern refugees had come seeking asylum. She, along with her husband, Frank, helped these refugees in whatever way they could, all the while learning their language and more about this people group that was once mighty but were now repressed, persecuted and nearly forgotten. Their land had been stolen and their culture outlawed.

Karen works with refugees who have been forced to flee their home countries due to violence and persecution. Hoping for a better life in a new country, they often find themselves overwhelmed and alone. The Morrows, and the partner churches they resource, are the welcoming presence of Christ to refugees.
