The Ministries Council serves as an elected advisory council to the CBF Governing Board. In this role, the Ministries Council collaborates with individuals from throughout CBF to identify, develop and deploy the assets of the Fellowship and to empower shared ministry networks.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
COOPERATIVE BAPTIST FELLOWSHIP

TITLE: Global Missions Intern

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Part-Time; Non-Exempt

DEPARTMENT: Global Missions

RESPONSIBILITY:  Responsible for providing administrative support for and assisting in promoting Global Missions

REPORTS TOl   Training Manager

RELATES TO: Global Missions Staff, Filed Personnel, and Filed Personnel candidates 

SUPERVISES: No One

DUTIES:

  1. Provide administrative support for Global Missions but not limited to the following: 60%
    • Assist with file management
    • Provide customer service
    • Written and verbal correspondence
    • Generate and maintain reports
    • Assist with processing applications
    • Prepare and distribute training materials
  2. Assist with conferences and events as needed. 15%
  3. Assist in general promotion of all activities 15%
  4. Domestic travel to regional events 5%
  5. Perform other duties as assigned. 5%

INDEPENDENCE: 1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8…9…10

EDUCATION: Required college junior or above; graduate student preferred.

EXPERIENCE: One or two years office experience preferred.

SKILLS:  

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Power Point and Raisers Edge preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with above average organizational skills.
  • Capable of multi-tasking with a sense of urgency and prioritization.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required
