Connect with Our Speakers
CBF's Speakers Bureau, face2face, links the local church with CBF staff and field personnel through story-telling and community building. Presentations engage audiences on an intellectual, physical, emotional and spiritual level.
If your church is passionate about a certain type of mission work or connected to CBF missions in a specific part of the world, visit our field personnel pages and mission community sites to learn about speakers that share your ministry interests. You may request a specific speaker in the request form at the bottom of this page.
Before your event
A successful mission event takes a bit of planning. Consider the following as you prepare to host a speaker:
|Maximize the opportunity of having a speaker in your church by considering all of the possible events at which he/she might speak such as a worship service, Sunday school class, Wednesday night gathering, luncheons, mission events, etc.||Consider the following: When do you need the speaker to arrive and depart? If the speaker is taking air transportation, will someone be available to take them to and from the airport? What is the preferred lodging for the speaker? What meals are provided?|
Speaker Placement Process
Connecting with your church is important to us. Every effort will be made to place a speaker for your event as quickly as possible. We ask that you request a speaker at least 60 days prior to your event. This increases the likelihood that field personnel will be available. This time frame also allows time to find the most cost effective forms of travel and lodging.
Due to the ministry demands and geographical challenges facing field personnel, please allow at least three weeks to confirm speaker availability. It is possible that a member of the CBF staff will be suggested as a speaker for your event. A face2face representative will be in touch with you to provide updates at various intervals throughout the process.
